Create a carousel people can use and save
Build an educational Instagram carousel with a useful lesson, one clear point per slide, and an app introduction that fits the topic.
The method
- Choose a task your reader can perform after reading. Write the useful advice before the product mention.
- Put one point on each slide. Include a concrete example or checklist instead of general encouragement.
- Introduce the app at the step where it helps. Show authentic UI and explain its role.
- Track saves and shares separately from clicks, installs and purchases. A useful saved post can have little purchase intent.
Usefulness creates a reason to keep the post. Relevance creates a reason to try the app. Your sequence should make both understandable.
Worked example: fictional puzzle app
Opening: Three ways to make your next practice session easier.
Lesson: choose one skill, try a short exercise, review the mistake.
Product reveal: show the app’s actual exercise and explanation.
Next step: save the checklist or try the matching exercise.
Examples here are illustrative. Choose a length and reveal position that fit the lesson, then compare similar observation windows.
